Pat Chiocchio, Regional Councillor (Welland)

Councillor Pat Chiocchio is serving his first term on regional council.

He has been on city council for Welland for the past 14 years representing the people of Ward 4 and has served on many committees, such as the Transit Advisory Committee, Safe Community Partnership, Economic Development Committee, and as chair of integrated services. He is also a member of the Hydro Board and has recently retired from a 34 year career in long-term care as an adult day service coordinator at Niagara Region.

Councillor Chiocchio's community involvement includes the Health Care Committee, and the Town and Gown Committee dealing with college students. His past involvement includes Welland minor hockey, soccer and basketball.

Councillor Chiocchio enjoys travelling with his wife Lorraine. He has a daughter Kelsy, and is looking forward to becoming a grandfather in 2019.
