Wainfleet Water and Sewer Project's Archaeological Assessment

Report Available for Public Comment

The Township of Wainfleet and Niagara Region have completed the Stage 1 Archaeological Assessment for the Wainfleet Water and Wastewater Project.

This report is now available for public comment.

The public comment period will be for 60 days beginning on January 8, 2010 and ending on March 9, 2010. Members of the public are invited to review the document and provide comments. The document may be reviewed at the following two locations:

  • Township of Wainfleet Municipal Offices

M.56, s. 29 (2) and is to be used by the Niagara Region, the Township of Wainfleet, and may be shared with Archaeological Services Inc. (archaeological consultant), the Ontario Ministry of Culture and/or the Ontario Ministry of Environment for the purpose of responding to your comments or fulfilling provincial requirements.
