Most Niagara crashes are caused by driver inattention, speed and impairment and are avoidable. Serious crashes from 2007 to 2009 are shown on the collision map.
Motor vehicle collisions have decreased by over 12% over the past five years through the efforts of the Regional Niagara Road Safety Committee. Members continue to work together to improve the safety of Niagara residents.
