Second-hand smoke in multi-unit dwellings is an issue for many Canadians.

A multi-unit dwellings is defined as any type of building containing more than one residential unit, and includes:

  • Multi-unit apartment buildings
  • Condominiums
  • Townhouses
  • Duplexes
  • Semi-detached houses
  • Basement suites

Smoke-Free Housing Canada is a national website dedicated to educating landlords, tenants and condominium owners on the issue of second-hand smoke in multi-unit dwellings.
