 The School Health Program is made up of public health nurses assigned to work in both elementary and secondary schools. The school nurse works with schools to provide quality mandated health programming that is consistent with the Ontario Curriculum. The curriculum recognizes that health is an important resource for daily living and that health and learning are closely connected. We encourage every school within Niagara to create an environment that supports the optimal health of all students and staff.
