Hepatitis A is the most common preventable disease acquired during travel; however, the risk of getting the other types of hepatitis also exists. The factors that increase the risk are the occurrence of hepatitis in the destination country, the types of activities the traveller is participating in, the type of accommodation, and length of stay.
