• Economic development through local markets
• Opportunities to enhance wine and culinary tourism

Participate in the Plan

We're looking for groups and individuals to help with any of these action items:

• Information Resources and Research
  Researching, compiling and providing information from various sources
  

• Local Food Network and Infrastructure
  Developing and strengthening relationships between farmers and retailers
  

• Education and Awareness Raising
  Educating and informing consumers about local food options
  

• Supportive Policy and Funding
  Reviewing policies and procedures from other levels of governments and organizations to streamline procedures and develop best practices

Over 50 people are available to assist you with research, promotion and development.  The list includes producers, distributors, academics, government employees and volunteers.
