Why Buy Local?

Buying locally grown food is better for:

  • Taste / Quality
Locally grown food is usually picked at the peak of ripeness for better flavor, freshness and nutrition and we know the source of where the products come from.
  • Local Economy
Gives farmers an opportunity to grow more crops, add more jobs and revitalize rural and urban communities to keep the dollars circulating within the community.
  • Environment
Reducing distances food travels from the farm to our homes.
