Niagara Falls (Mayor)

Councillor Diodati is serving his first term on Regional Council. He was elected Mayor of Niagara Falls in 2010 after serving two terms on Niagara Falls City Council.
Councillor Diodati has been self-employed for over 20 years, currently operating a web-based health and wellness direct marketing business.
Councillor Diodati's extensive volunteer and community experience includes serving on the Niagara Catholic District School Board's Accommodation Review Committee and its Vision 20/20 Advisory Committee. He is a member of the Greater Niagara Circle Route Committee and participated in the '10 Men in a Tent' event that raised more than $300,000 in food and cash donations for Project Share in 2009/2010. Councillor Diodati also established the annual 'Sleep Cheap, Charities Reap' fundraising event which has raised more than $700,000 for local charities.
Councillor Diodati has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Western Ontario (Psychology/Business). He and his wife Yvonne (Benyo) Diodati have three children.
