Dave Augustyn is serving his second term as Mayor of the Town of Pelham and Regional Councillor.
His employment history includes Development Manager at Women's Place St. Catharines and North Niagara, Hotel Dieu Hospital, Alzheimer Society of Niagara Region, and St. Jerome's University (at University of Waterloo). He holds a degree in Political Science from the University of Waterloo and worked for two years at Queen's Park.
Councillor Augustyn is very active in the community. As a professional fundraiser, he helped raise millions of dollars to assist abused women and their children, patients, victims of disease and students in need. He serves as Chair of the Regional Task Force to End Family Violence, and has served on the Development and Peace Council of St. Catharines Diocese. He has also served as a member of the Pelham Cares Accommodations Committee, the Fenwick Lions and the Pelham Food Drive.
