Niagara Region has introduced a new section 'About Local Government' for elementary and secondary school children in Niagara region.

Learning about local government can open the door to many different educational opportunities for youth and children. These learning opportunities can help them develop knowledge and skills in many different subject areas.

An information kit containing classroom and other learning activities is available for teachers.
